A Bathroom Ready for a Fresh Start
Before the renovation, this Como bathroom was clearly showing its age, with pink floral tiles and older finishes that made the space feel dated and out of step with the rest of the home. While it was still functional, it lacked the clean lines, quality materials and more contemporary feel the homeowners were looking for.
A More Refined Direction
The goal of this bathroom renovation was to create a space that felt modern, polished and easy to live with, while still having a sense of warmth and quality. The design focused on simplifying the palette, introducing better materials and creating a more open, updated layout centred around a walk-in shower and a stronger vanity area.
Clean Lines and Elevated Finishes
A stone benchtop with an undermount basin helped set the tone for the new vanity, bringing a more seamless and refined look to the room. The walk-in shower, floor-to-ceiling tiling and textured grey feature tiles added depth and visual interest, while matte black framed mirrors and shower detailing introduced contrast and definition. Together, these finishes gave the bathroom a more considered and designer-inspired feel without making it feel overdone.
A Contemporary Space with Lasting Appeal
The completed bathroom renovation now feels fresh, sophisticated and far better suited to modern living. What was once a tired and dated bathroom has been transformed into a well-resolved space with a stronger sense of style, improved functionality and a much more timeless overall finish. It is a great example of how the right combination of layout, materials and detailing can completely lift a room.
