Reworking the Space from the Ground Up
Before the renovation, this Tuart Hill bathroom had an older layout that no longer made the best use of the room. The original bathtub, smaller tiles and dated finishes made the space feel tired, while the existing window placement did not suit the new direction for the design. This project called for more than a surface update, with structural changes playing a key role in achieving a better result.
A More Open and Practical Layout
The goal of this bathroom renovation was to create a space that felt calmer, more functional and better suited to everyday family use. Replacing the bathtub with a walk-in shower opened up the room and improved accessibility, while repositioning the window helped bring natural light and ventilation exactly where it was needed most. These changes allowed the layout to work far more effectively without losing the sense of comfort and simplicity the homeowners were after.
Scandinavian Style with Warmth and Balance
The finished bathroom combines clean Scandinavian-inspired styling with a softer, more inviting material palette. A top mount white vanity and natural timber benchtop bring together simplicity and warmth, while the vessel basin, frameless mirror and chrome fixtures add a clean contemporary edge. Large-format tiles, a frameless glass shower screen and a restrained neutral palette help the room feel spacious, bright and easy to maintain.
A Bathroom That Feels Fresh and Thoughtfully Resolved
The completed renovation has transformed this Tuart Hill bathroom into a light, modern and highly functional space. What was once a dated bathroom now feels open, refined and much better suited to the home. It is a strong example of how thoughtful layout changes, structural improvements and carefully selected finishes can completely reshape both the look and feel of a bathroom.
