A Better Layout for the Way the Space Was Used

Before the renovation, this Scarborough bathroom still had a bathtub that was rarely used, along with an awkward layout that limited movement through the room. The original door position and dated finishes made the space feel less practical than it could have been, despite having good potential for a much more functional design.

Designed Around Everyday Living

The goal of this bathroom renovation was to create a layout that better suited the homeowners’ lifestyle. With no real need for a bath, removing it allowed the room to be reworked in a far more practical way. Relocating the door also helped improve flow, creating a bathroom that feels more open, easier to move through and better aligned with day-to-day use.

More Space, Simpler Lines and a Contemporary Finish

The transformation introduced a spacious walk-in shower, a floating white vanity with a dark benchtop, large-format wall tiles and contemporary chrome fixtures throughout. Together, these elements helped create a bathroom that feels brighter, cleaner and far more refined than the original. The updated layout now offers much better use of space, proving that removing unnecessary fixtures can completely change how a bathroom looks and functions.
