Before the renovation, this Huntingdale bathroom was in poor condition and clearly in need of a full transformation. As part of a broader home renovation, the space went from tired and neglected to fresh, refined and completely unrecognisable. What had once been a damaged and outdated bathroom became an opportunity to create something far more modern, functional and visually striking.

A Bathroom Designed to Feel Like a Retreat

The goal of this bathroom renovation was to create a space that felt calm, elevated and beautifully finished, while still working practically for everyday life. The design focused on bringing in warmth, contrast and simplicity through a carefully selected mix of materials and fixtures. Rather than overcomplicating the room, the renovation aimed to let a few standout elements do the work and give the bathroom a more luxurious overall feel.

Layered Finishes with a Designer Edge

A freestanding bath became a clear focal point within the new layout, framed by textured beige tiles that added softness and depth to the room. Matte black fixtures introduced contrast and gave the bathroom a more contemporary edge, while the floating white vanity, round vessel basin and large circular mirror helped create a clean and balanced vanity area. A frameless glass shower screen and warm neutral floor tiles completed the look, giving the entire bathroom a more open and cohesive feel.
